Artz Service LLC is a small business with years of factory trained and maintenance experience in the install, service, and repair of CNC machines (mills/ lathes/ grinders, etc) and printing equipment; (post-press: folders, cutters, stitchers, perfect binders, mail inserters, etc). Artz Service is also a dealer for a few companies and I believe I can get some of the best pricing for many parts; including Heidelberg post-press part and guillotine cutting knives.

Services range from electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair to installing new/used equipment to retrofitting machines with new or modified options.

Having been in maintenance for years working on numerous machines, I can attest that it can be difficult to find service and parts at times. Many companies either leave you waiting for long periods of time on service, or the cost to get them to your facility is astronomical. I have been there and have succeeded in getting the equipment operating.

Background

I have been working in the machine maintenance and repair field for many years, where I learned much of what I know on the job from the people that had been doing it for decades. Working on machinery and making things not only operate, but work in a manner that is better suited to the customer is what drives and excels me. I worked for Hurco for 4 years installing options in-house and repairing/ reconditioning machines to be resold. I moved on from Hurco to Nachi Tool America where I was over maintenance, repairing all of the in-house machinery. Most of these were CNC surface and cylindrical grinders operated with Fanuc controls, drives, and motors. From Nachi, I move on to my current employer, Printing Partners. Here I have serviced and repaired various different type of printing equipment; Heidelberg presses, heidelberg folders, horizon perfect binder and booklet maker, Polar and Perfecta guillotine cutters, Muller Martini Stitcher, Pitney Bowes Flowmaster inserter, etc.
